Yes. Same-sex marriage is now legally recognized in Thailand. Since January 2025, couples of all genders can legally marry under Thai law, with the same rights and responsibilities as opposite-sex couples. This makes Thailand one of the most progressive wedding destinations in Asia for LGBTQ couples.

Harmony Weddings Thailand proudly plans and organizes LGBTQ weddings, both legal and symbolic, depending on your nationality, residency status, and personal preferences. If you wish to complete a legal marriage in Thailand, we’ll guide you through the required documents, translations, embassy paperwork, and registration process with the local district office. If a symbolic ceremony feels like the better fit, we’ll design something entirely personal, without legal constraints, but with just as much meaning.

We work exclusively with LGBTQ-friendly venues, officiants, and creative partners across Thailand, and we’re used to handling weddings for international couples with different legal requirements. From the first conversation to the final send-off, the process is the same as with any wedding we plan: thoughtful planning, clear guidance, and a celebration that feels true to you.
